Jesus loves you. He is for you. If you have never reached out to Him, be assured that he’s reaching out to you. He’s saying, “Come.” If you are weary- Come. If you are tired of the hurried pace, the performance-based lifestyle of the world, come. Jesus loves you unconditionally which is hard for us to accept because we live in a world of terms, fine print, loopholes, and exceptions. He is offering you the greatest gift you could ever receive. He loves you so much that he ignored the consequences in order to bring you into a right relationship with God. What’s the catch? The catch is that you can’t earn your way into an eternal relationship with Him. He simply asks you to drop all your tools, coping mechanisms, and survival strategies and come. That’s it. You may have lived your entire life going to church and yet for the first time all the pieces came together. You might have never been to a celebration like this or even a Church service that’s OK too.

Lord Jesus,

I am tired of trying to live my life by myself. I’m tired of trying to measure up to worldly standards and expectations. I’m stopping all my self-saving attempts because I realize that my only hope is you. I believe in you. I turn away from life outside your grace. I accept your forgiveness and eternal life.
